Our Costa Rica Missions Team was formed based upon an interest shown during our Ministry Fair in 2009. Reid and Wanda Hildreth have been the coordinators for this team. They held meetings often and now have a team of missionaries who travel to Liberia, Costa Rica each year.
Liberia is the Capital city of the Northwest Providence of Guanacaste, a town larger than Nashville, but smaller than Rocky Mount. The church our team serves is Fuente de Gracia (Source of Grace) Evangelical Methodist Church.
The team has received spiritual and financial support from several groups and individuals within the churches represented on the team, as well as a grant from the N.C. Conference United Methodist Volunteers in Missions Fund. You can be a part of this mission by lifting them up in prayer.
