Weekday School

The goals of the Nashville United Methodist Church (NUMC) Weekday School are to provide a safe and nurturing Christian environment that is dedicated to meeting the developmental needs of children 2 – 5 years of age.

The NUMC Weekday School teachers foster a Christian atmosphere for play and learning through hands on exploration and experimentation with developmentally appropriate materials. Children are active and creative in their experiences, employing all of their budding thinking skills.

We strive to provide a enriched learning experience for children and to serve as a resource to parents.

Our staff consists of teachers and assistants who are knowledgeable in the development and education of young children. Our teachers create an atmosphere in which learning can take place and each child's particular needs are met.

The preschool is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Holidays and inclement weather follows the Nash/Rocky Mount School schedule. We offer four class options:

  • 2 year old class on Tuesdays and Thursdays has a 2:10 teacher ratio and cost $115 per month.
  • 3 year old Monday, Wednesday, and Friday class has a 2:12 teacher ratio and cost $125 per month.
  • 3 year old Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday class has a 2:12 teacher ratio and cost $125 per month.
  • 4 year old class is Monday through Thursday has a 2:14 teacher ratio and costs $145 per month.
  • Pre-K class is Monday through Friday has a 2:14 teacher radio and cost $175 per month.
